The Institution of Civil Engineers' conference on retrofit solutions for non-domestic buildings will bring together the retrofit supply chain to overcome some of the challenges associated with retrofitting the buildings in which we work.

The conference will deliver case studies of successful retrofit schemes, detailing sources of finance, procurement methods, the physical installations and the engagement with buildings' users to ensure that the measures are correctly used.

Delegates at ICE Retrofit Solutions for Non-Domestic Buildings 2012 will understand what end users, including Marks & Spencer, TfL and Land Securities, what they want from the supply chain; improve their understanding of BREEAM and Ska and the appropriate applications of each through discussion with BRE and RICS and gain a better understanding of the UK Climate Change Act through Q&A with the Committee on Climate Change.

They will understand the importance of modifying occupants' behaviour as well as the fabric of the building and grow their business by making new connections with senior decision makers from across the construction industry.
