With a £10,000 prize for the winner of the renewables installer of the year category, the upcoming Renewables Awards, part of the Renewables Roadshow, will put the spotlight on businesses who work with renewable technologies. The inaugural gala event will take place at the Ricoh Arena, in Coventry, on Thursday 8th September and will be hosted by Michael McIntyre. The judging panel will consist of Peter Thom (MD of Green Heat), Roger Webb (director of HHIC), David Frise (head of sustainability at HVCA), Tim Pollard (head of sustainability at Wolseley UK) and David Gall (associate director, BRE). So, if you’ve worked on a renewables project that deserves recognition, have a look at the categories below and request an entry form to get those nominations in by 15th August.

The roadshow
Taking place at six venues around the country in September, the Renewables Roadshow will give visitors the opportunity to interact with dozens of exhibiting manufacturers, merchants and professional bodies, with four seminar theatres designed to simplify technologies and training.
