EcoSheet is a plywood substitute made entirely from recycled waste plastic, helping retailers meet their sustainable construction and waste reduction commitments. The product has already been trialled in several supermarket and retail construction projects and is now available. EcoSheet – which can itself be recycled after use – was used at an Marks & Spencer project in Bath by construction company ISG Pearce for external site hoardings.

Using new technology, the natural characteristics of polymer are utilised to manufacture hard-wearing, smooth-faced, versatile boards suitable for a variety of applications in construction and beyond. The product is produced in Luton by 2K Manufacturing, which will process 30,000 tonnes of low-grade waste plastic in 2011, its first year of operation.
