A homeowner guide to saving money and carbon has been published by the National Skills Academy for Environmental Technologies. Energy efficient homes and environmental technologies will explain the principal renewable technologies, give energy saving tips and explain finance initiatives such as Green Deal, the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and Feed in Tariffs (FiTs).
The academy has been authorised by the government to provide renewable and low carbon training to businesses supplying services related to Green Deal, RHI and FiTs, and so is the ideal organisation to advise homeowners and inform them of qualified installers.
Cathryn Hickey, executive director for the Skills Academy said: "Now, with the Green Deal set to encourage a huge interest in energy efficient living, the Skills Academy wants to ensure consumers have the right information to make their homes cheaper, more environmentally friendly places."
Energy efficient homes and environmental technologies is available to download from £4.99.
