The Worcester Environment 2020 Awards have recognised the importance of tackling climate change through industry best practice.
Both domestic and commercial projects won awards; winners included PAC Engineering for a project completed at Bristol Zoo. A Surrey barn conversion with an air to water heat pump as its sole source of heating and hot water was also recognised.
Worcester also runs an annual art competition for three age categories from 0-16. This year’s prizes were awarded for an ‘Eco Castle’ and two polar projections of the environment’s future: one entitled ‘The Last Tree on Earth’ and the other ‘A Greener Future’.
