Home energy efficiency expert Enact Energy has launched a complete Green Deal package for local authorities.
The service is free for councils and allows them to endorse brand literature and proactive marketing campaigns funded by Enact.

Enact will then give access to all the data collected during their own marketing – information will include amount and type of works, customer satisfaction surveys and post installation inspection results to ensure quality is being maintained and complete EPC data.

All work is undertaken via a national network of quality assured installers. Enact manage the customer service from start to finish and control product procurement and warranty management.

Since launching in 1996, Enact has partnered with more than 100 local authorities across Britain in energy saving schemes for residents.

Founder and chairman Adrian Wright said: “Having worked with and on behalf of local authorities for more than 16 years, we fully understand how difficult it can be for home energy efficiency campaigns to be properly resourced both in terms of officer time and the financial cost of delivery.

“We recognise that local authorities like to support local business… So where a local authority has preferred installers in their district, we will happily add them to our network subject to them meeting our minimum standards criteria. We will also be offering a Green Deal Umbrella service for local SMEs and community groups, giving them a simple way to gain access to both Green Deal Finance and ECO funding.”

Local authorities or other housing organisations interested in partnering with Enact should contact Enact partnership manager, Jamie Champness on 07807 297 280 or email Jamie.champness@enactenergy.com
