StrataCell is a large soil structure module that encourages tree root growth in urban plantings, while providing complete support for any paved surfaces that are located above the rooting zone. Introduced by Greenleaf Urban Tree and Landscape Products, StrataCell has an open structure that provides space for the passage of utilities, service pipes and irrigation systems. Over two years in development, the product represents the fourth generation in Greenleaf’s range of soil structure units, all of which are designed to help trees overcome the inhospitable soil conditions of towns and cities that would otherwise be directly opposed to healthy root growth.
