Building a better environment: Our role in development and how we can help
By editor | 17 Sep, 2012
The Environment Agency, Natural England and The Forestry Commission have opened consultation on Building a better environment: Our role in development and how we can help.
The report is intended as a first stop resource to help planners and developers and to signpost more technical advice and the organisations are currently urging the planning and development industries to help them further improve services and information to those involved in the sectors by completing the feedback questionnaire associated with the document.
Julie Foley, the Environment Agency’s head of sustainable places, said: “We want to help enable growth and new development, whilst protecting and enhancing the environment. This document will help developers to find the advice they need, reducing the costs and time spent associated with development proposals”.
