WPE South East is offering free waste audits to businesses in the South East and London to help companies profit from materials they might otherwise throw away.
The recently launched online waste and materials trading site is giving the audits as part the work undertaken by EPOW, the European Pathway to Zero Waste, until the end of August.
WPE Chairman, Adam Symons said, “All waste has a potential buyer and a waste audit will quickly identify new revenues streams and cut down on disposal costs. Our free waste audits will assess the current operations of a company and make suggestions of how they could improve its systems.
“We know from working with many companies that the true cost of waste is more than just the price of disposal. It includes time, loss of raw materials, handling, energy, water, and a range of other issues. This all adds up and is money which businesses could be saving.”
Places are limited so interested businesses should contact Symons as soon as possible.
