A range of remote energy management products has been launched by Marshall-Tufflex. Energy managers can measure, record and analyse usage via easy-to-install sub-metres which report data wirelessly. Users can download consumption patterns and figures to their PC from multiple locations.

The range consists of:

The Pulse Plus Multipoint, a plug-in GSM data recorder that measures and records electrical power and pulsed output devices, for example water and gas meters. It measures a single phase load (Amps, Volts, power factor, kW, kWh) and can accept up to two signals from pulsed output devices.

The Pulse Plus Logger is can record data from up to 16 signals from pulsed output devices. Both the Pulse Plus Multipoint and the Pulse Plus Logger then analyse data using Sinergy's dashboard control centre.

The Pulse Plus Meter is a data recorder which stores usage information for one three phase circuit and reports wirelessly.

All Pulse Plus systems allow monitoring parameters to be set and changed remotely. They use non-volatile memory which protects data during potential power failures.

“Wireless reporting of data is key for a growing number of clients. Users can programme Pulse Plus to retrieve data as required, giving precise and detailed real-time information about consumption, usage patterns, base load, peak demand etc. This information is key to understanding, managing and reducing energy usage,” said Jeremy Dodge, head of marketing and technical services.
