Sheffield has been named as the UK's renewable energy hotspot in a report by energy consultant AEA. The research reveals the top ten areas of the country in terms of renewable energy installations since the launch of the Feed-in Tariff. As a whole, the UK has seen a 400% growth in microgeneration capactiy since April 2010, with solar PV leading the way with an increase of 900%.
